Bread worth the trip to Methven
Joe started this bakery to do one thing properly: real sourdough, given the time it needs. We're a small team on Main Street, shaping every loaf by hand and letting the dough prove slowly so the crust cracks and the crumb has a bit of character. Alongside the sourdough we bake baguettes, cracked rye and seeded loaves, cinnamon knots and our oatmeal cookies, fresh each morning. It's a wee shop, so we tend to remember your name and your usual order. Pop in, have a chat, and take home something proper.

Where are you and is there parking?
We're at 104 Main Street in Methven, just outside Perth. There's on-street parking along Main Street, and it's an easy stop if you're passing through the village.
Do I need to order ahead?
Not at all, just come in. We're a small bakery and bake fresh each day, so popular bakes like the cinnamon knots can sell out. If you want to be sure of something, give us a ring first.
Can I put in a larger or regular order?
Yes. If you'd like a standing loaf order or something for a special occasion, have a word with Joe or call us on 07530 694382 and we'll sort it.
Is it takeaway only?
Yes, we're a bakery shop for taking home. Choose your bread and bakes at the counter and we'll bag them up for you.
When are you open?
Our full opening hours are on the Find Us section below. We're open through the week, and it's always worth coming earlier in the day for the best pick of the shelves.
